Lung Association Names Moore ‘Inspiring Woman’


The American Lung Association of Florida has named Karen Moore their “Inspiring Woman,” recognized at the Women and Lung Health Luncheon in Tallahassee. The event offered Tallahassee-area women the chance to meet, network and enjoy informational and emotional presentations from healthcare representatives and patients who have dealt with lung-related illnesses.

The luncheon was part of a statewide series, and also included a fashion show and silent auction, as well as on-site health screenings.

Amy Martin Promoted to Chief Financial Officer

Amy Martin was promoted today to chief financial officer of Moore Consulting Group. Martin has worked at MCG for more than 7 years, and previously held the title of director of administration.


In addition to managing the finance and business department for MCG, Amy also oversees human resources and other administrative matters for the firm. She has 15 years of finance experience, and holds a degree in business administration from Flagler College.

MCG’s Senior VP Earns Top Industry Accreditation


Moore Consulting Group is pleased to announce our own Senior Vice President Terrie Glover Ard, APR, CPRC, has earned the Certified Public Relations Counselor (CPRC) accreditation from the Florida Public Relations Association. The designation is the highest in the public relations field, and Ard is among the youngest to have passed the exam.
Moore Consulting Group has built a reputation of offering the highest level of expertise and counsel to our clients,” said Karen Moore, the firm’s president and CEO. “We’ve always known Terrie’s strategy and insight are top-notch, and congratulate her on this outstanding achievement.”
Karen Moore is also APR and CPRC-accredited. There are less than 50 such professionals in Florida.

Moore Consulting Group Wins Silver Addy


Moore Consulting Group received a prestigious Silver Addy at the 2008 award show that took place last weekend, sponsored by the Greater Tallahassee Advertising Federation. The Silver Addy was awarded to MCG in the mixed/multiple media category for MCG's own "What's Your Mountain?" rebranding campaign. Campaign elements include the moore-pr.com website, a promotional postcard, full-sized pop-up banner and a poster.

MCG Partners with the American Lung Association of Florida

Moore Consulting Group (MCG) is proud to announce its partnership with the American Lung Association of Florida (ALAF) for its annual Asthma Walk to take place April 5, 2008.

Asthma affects more than 20 million people in the United States, and more than 40,000 people in the Big Bend region. MCG has partnered with ALAF to provide in-kind donations for the 2008 event. Three of our staff members also serve on the Asthma Walk Committee to assist with planning and fund raising.

We hope you will join us on April 5, 2008 at the scenic Centerville Conservation Community, where walkers will enjoy 2.5 miles of nature trails as well as food and fun for families and participants!
