The Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce named Moore Consulting Group Tallahassee’s Family Friendly Business of the Year at yesterday’s 2008 Small Business Excellence Awards ceremony. The firm has been nominated for the award two years in a row. (See a complete list of this year’s winners.)“We are honored to receive this recognition from the community,” said Moore Consulting Group President Karen Moore, who accepted the award. “It’s been a blessing to see the teamwork and leadership that has flourished at MCG thanks to our family-friendly practices. This just goes to show that it pays to put family first.”
Moore was also excited to receive a letter of congratulations on the award from Senator Bill Nelson, who noted the crucial role small businesses play in Florida’s “growth and success.”
